At C Spire, we’ve weathered and recovered from our share of hurricanes and other natural disasters, all while helping connect survivors to crucial aid sources and loved ones with our wireless network. And we’re always ready to lend a hand to our neighbors.

On October 28, we’ll join bluegrass artists like Jim Lauderdale, Sierra Hull, the Po’ Ramblin’ Boys at Appalachian Aid: A Bluegrass Benefit for the Appalachian Flood Victims at City Winery Nashville to help raise funds for victims of the Appalachian floods caused by Hurricane Helene.

The C Spire Foundation will donate $20,000 to benefit the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Trust Fund, which provides financial assistance to bluegrass musicians in need, as well as the humanitarian aid group Samaritan's Purse.

Separately, the foundation will also contribute $5,000 to the Ballad Health Foundation in Johnson City, Tenn., which is supporting health improvement efforts in the Appalachian region in the wake of flooding.

In the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Helene, C Spire mobilized to support Carolina West Wireless by delivering six full-size generators and two towable generators to aid in restoration efforts in North Carolina. The devastating storm made landfall Sept. 26 in Florida before wreaking havoc across several states, including Georgia and the Carolinas.

This collaborative effort highlights the importance of partnership in natural disasters, where multiple entities' collective strength and resources can accelerate the recovery process.
