In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, C Spire has mobilized to support Carolina West Wireless by delivering six full-size generators and two towable generators to aid in restoration efforts in North Carolina. The devastating storm made landfall Sept. 26 in Florida before wreaking havoc across several states, including Georgia and the Carolinas.

This collaborative effort highlights the importance of partnership in natural disasters, where multiple entities' collective strength and resources can accelerate the recovery process.

"We are committed to supporting our neighbors and a fellow telecommunications company in their time of need. Leveraging our resources will help residents with connectivity so communities can begin rebuilding as quickly and safely as possible."

C Spire team members in North Carolina utilized a skid steer, chainsaws and other equipment to clear roads and assist in the transportation and deployment of the generators. These generators will power cell sites, assisting with connectivity to address immediate needs in the affected areas.

As the recovery efforts continue, C Spire remains committed to helping while balancing customers' ongoing needs.
