Note: This is the fourth and final stop in our Magical Mystery Tour through the upper-Midwest, visiting solution/service providers and learning trends within their businesses. TekLinks believes that “a rising tide lifts all ships,” so in this video series we are presenting to the IT community key insights from our tour. We hope you've enjoyed it!
One of the cool things about this trip was to see the different cultures on display in each business. Each company takes a different approach to how they embrace culture and drive it through their respective organizations.
IT Weapons has a really unique culture. Since they have the word “weapons” in their title, they weave that throughout their culture.
The conference rooms are named after famous swords, the owners have swords built into their desks, and they have the motto “never leave your wingman” painted on the office with a picture of two fighter jets (very “Top Gun”).
But the most interesting piece of their culture is the customer experience center. There's a full office setup for an example business. The prospective customer can come in and experience what it is like to work with ITW from a mocked-up office, from their home, even a Tim Hortons! It is a great selling tool.
In our video, ITW Director of Business Development Jeremy MacBean and I discuss customer experience and culture.
One more time, I want to thank 10th Magnitude, OST, Apex Digital, and IT Weapons for talking IT trends with me, and LogicMonitor for sponsoring the trip.
