Bytes & Bites 2018 is nearly here! Below are the need-to-know event details - we'll see you soon!
What, where, when: On Thursday, April 19, at TekLinks headquarters, you'll enjoy BBQ, beer, gourmet ice pops, live music by Billy Gant, tech demos, gadget giveaways, expert technology talks, and tours of the TekLinks' Data Center. And thanks to our generous sponsors, it's all free to the public. Pre-register by April 18, or register at the event, which is 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wi-fi is provided by Title Sponsor Cisco.
Bytes & Bites 2018 app: New this year is the Bytes & Bites 2018 app - access it here. At the event, use the app to enter to win door prizes by participating in activities such as visiting vendor booths, meeting our cybersecurity team, and attending presentations. Each stop you make will have a code you'll enter into the "Gamification" portion of the app. The more points you rack up, the more entries you will receive in the drawing for one of 12 door prizes. You'll also be able to join in group chats, access social media, and provide feedback about the event through the app.
Speakers: Keynote Speaker John Shaw, CEO at ELE.ai, will discuss Artificial Intelligence strategies at 11:30 a.m. "I'll share how to become an AI-first enterprise through AI adoption for yourself and your customers," said John. The day's full agenda is also available in the Bytes & Bites 2018 app.
Giveaways: This year we're giving away hundreds of dollars' worth of giveaways to our most engaged participants. Prizes will include a Nintendo Switch, Yeti Hopper 40 Cooler, Apple iPad, and a Nest Thermostat among others.
Hashtag Photo Wall: Guests are invited to help create a billboard-sized work of art – live and in real-time, powered by the hashtag #BytesBites18. Participation in this Instagram-driven wall of art will also earn app points toward door prize giveaways! (If you don't have an Instagram account, be sure to create one before April 19.)
Parking: Parking is provided at 298 West Valley Avenue. Shuttles to TekLinks will run throughout the day starting at 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Please do not attempt to park anywhere on Summit Parkway - including TekLinks buildings, any surrounding businesses, or the side streets. TekLinks on-site parking will be closed to all, except those with a valid handicap pass.
All that's left is for you to come prepared to eat, network, and learn about today's top technologies for businesses!
