Anthony Woods: The Huntsville Commercial Account Manager has 12 years of combined sales/management experience, starting his career in wireless as an owner of an AT&T Wireless Authorized retailer location. He's a pretty happy guy this week - the Vols just beat Georgia AND he's marrying his sweetheart this weekend. Congrats, Anthony!
Chelsea Graham: Our newest Birmingham Purchasing Specialist was with Hot Topic for eight years prior to coming to TekLinks. Chelsea, who is a lefty, was president of the gaming club in college. She enjoys crafts, playing games, drinking red wine or Lambic – not necessarily in that order.
David Smith: David joins us as Knoxville's new Help Desk intern. Originally from Kentucky, he has recently moved to Tennessee from his station in North Carolina where he served four years as a U.S. Marine. During his service, David traveled across the country as well as internationally to places like Rota, Spain; Djibouti, Africa; Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan. He now appreciates relaxing evenings at home with his wife, Ashley, and their three dogs.
Dustin Salter: The Chattanooga Network Engineer in Chattanooga is a husband and father of two. Dustin has been in the IT field for 14 years. A word of advice to our co-workers -- don't make the mistake of sneaking up on him. For the past year and a half, Dustin has been practicing the traditional martial arts of "Okinawan goju-ryu". (Say what?!) Think sensei, Mr. Miyagi, true "wax on, wax off" martial arts. He plans to enter his first tournament next year.
Greg Jones: The new Birmingham Senior Systems Engineer is, “Married to my dream girl, Kimberly, and we have a wonderful son named Garrett.” He spends his free time working around the house and helping with his son’s Cub Scouts Pack. He’s a Calvin and Hobbes fan whose bucket list includes cage diving with Great Whites.
Jared Hamilton: Chattanooga Help Desk Specialist Jared Hamilton is a Tennessee native currently living in Cleveland with his wife Jessica. Originally a theology major, Jared says he "stumbled into" the IT world after installing an operating system on an old computer and the rest is history. He is a nationally ranked backgammon player and he does improv theater on the side. (Entertainment at the Christmas party?)
Jimmy Rogers: Chattanooga's Microsoft/Citrix Engineer II Jimmy Rogers landed his first IT job at the age of 16 and has been in the field for the past nine years. When he's not working, Jimmy looks to his long list of hobbies to keep him busy. He enjoys his guitar collection, remote control cars and planes, reef fish tanks, and cars. At one point, he owned five cars but has recently scaled it back to one.
John Emery: After 30 years of living in southern Illinois, John and his wife decided it was time to move to East Tennessee. The new Knoxville Field Technician-Tier 1 is a lover of the outdoors -- namely hiking and fishing. And for all of you bowlers, this is the guy you want on your team. He's come one pin shy of a perfect score twice but would say that the "lucky number 7" pin isn't so lucky for him.
Josh Ray: The Birmingham Systems Engineer is from Cullman, Ala. He’s married with three daughters ages 7 years, 5 years, and 6 weeks. In his free time -- because parents of 6-week-olds have loads of spare time -- he enjoys reading, shooting firearms, fantasy football and watching movies. “Road House” is this 1980s fan’s favorite movie, and, not surprisingly, if he could travel to any time it would be Nov. 5, 1955. (We’ll let you Google it.)
Marcus Handy: Chattanooga Business Development Manager Marcus Handy brings 13 years of sales experience to our team. A fan of hiking and backpacking, Marcus once took two months to backpack internationally through Morocco, Columbia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Mexico and up to Canada. And if that's not interesting enough, rumor has it that he is the nephew of SNL's "Deep Thoughts" author Jack Handy.
Welcome to the TekLinks team, guys!
