There’s rarely a workday that goes by at TekLinks’ newly acquired Claris Networks’ offices during which at least one of our teammates doesn’t email the entire staff a “Mad Props” about a co-worker who has shown leadership, invested in the lives of others, or done what is right no matter the circumstance.

TekLinks was recently recognized as one of the fastest-growing, privately owned companies in the U.S., weighing in at No. 4457 on the annual Inc. 5000 ranking. The Inc 5000 list ranks companies based on their three-year revenue growth, and TekLinks’ average revenue growth was 52 percent. We have also added around 70 new jobs and been able to serve organizations across Tennessee and the Gulf South region with our ever-growing catalogue of IT services. In addition, our new partner company, Claris Networks, made the list at No. 4039 with a 3-year growth rate of 59 percent. Claris has added about 36 jobs in the last three years.

It’s a bull market for black market health records. A single patient health record can earn cybercriminals 10 times the price of a stolen credit card number. The Office of Civil Rights is auditing small and large healthcare providers alike, imposing multi-million dollar fines in some cases. Meanwhile, the same electronic storage, mobile devices, and cloud-based applications that patients, doctors, and healthcare staff want to use often compromise a practice’s ability to keep that patient data safe.
