C Spire technicians are continuing to expand and enhance the C Spire 5G and LTE wireless network.

Recent work in south Mississippi have brought online new 5G sites to serve customers in Lucedale and in neighboring George County communities like Agricola, Shipman and Merrill.

Customers in Baldwyn and Myrtle, located in the northern region of the service area, are seeing faster speeds, while new 5G in Caledonia expands C Spire’s 5G footprint in Lowndes County. Over in the Delta region, Sledge is experiencing the benefits of enhancements, and areas along the Gulf Coast such as the Tegarden Road corridor are seeing faster speeds after an enhancement of existing 5G technology.

Across the C Spire footprint, wireless network engineers and technicians continue to add new 5G and LTE cells to provide customers with fast, reliable speeds. In 2023, C Spire has invested more than $20 million in hundreds of new 5G and LTE sites in cities like Hattiesburg, Lucedale, Gulfport, Oxford, Kosciusko and Wiggins.
