That’s the message Johanna King is sharing with young people throughout the D’Iberville area. The C Spire Wireless Market Manager is actively seeking out opportunities to share with students and school leaders the importance of technology and computer science education.

Doug Mays is a self-proclaimed “stat head” in most aspects of his life and especially his favorite pastime. When it comes to major league baseball, he doesn’t support a particular team. Instead, he follows players and loves studying their statistics.

The C Spire Rural Broadband Consortium is studying different methods to deliver internet to rural communities. One of the many rural communities we are testing in is Maben, Mississippi, a town with a population of less than 900 people. There we are testing TV White Space (TVWS).

The C Spire team awarded three Jackson-area elementary schools the top three spots in our second annual statewide C Spire C3 Jr. coding challenge. Teams of fourth grade students from 15 public and private schools across 14 counties competed for bragging rights and tech-related prizes.
